a short bio
hi. i'm Jixeral — jix to friends. i'm somewhere in my early twenties (or not), and right now i'm spending most of my time learning to build things on the web. before that i was doing other stuff. before that, other stuff. you get it.
i grew up reading a lot, drawing a little, and being on the internet way too much. now i'm trying to turn that into something — maybe a career, maybe just a habit i'm proud of.
i'm drawn to things that feel quiet and a little sad. punpun, evangelion, frank ocean, blade runner. i like when art doesn't try too hard but means everything.

i overthink everything. what to say, what to wear, what my emails sound like. coding has been good for me because the computer doesn't care how i feel about the semicolon — it just wants the semicolon.
i'm interested in design, web development, writing, and figuring out how the internet became what it is. i want to make small, weird, well-crafted things — websites that feel like a place rather than a product.
also: i think the best art is the kind that makes you sit very still for a while afterward. punpun did that to me. i hope to make something like that one day.
